Hm... I saw a picture on a train over at the steampunk forum with a pretty cool angle and light. And then I realised that I rarely get impressed by trains (or well, 19th century locomotives in general).

In contrast to alot of other people, I find steampunk pretty boring most of the time. BUT, I think its because everyone is doing steampunk to little. I want less 1800 and more fantastic! I mean, that's why I like Machina Obscura... it seems to fit "my" steampunk alot better.

So, I just realised something. As I want bigger and more epic steampunk, with fantastic contraptions and great unknowns to explore, what about having just simply trains but boost them into enormous bloody beasts of steam and steel? I'm thinking of it as comparing a sail boat with our modern cruisers.

So does it sound like a good idea? Enormous trains capable of transporting probably a smaller city? Perhaps it could have military waggons as well, working as some kind of defensive platforms.

Also, I taught the name "Juggernaut" sounded pretty fitting. I mean, its basicly referring to something massive that crashes into stuff.

Glad that you like the project this much. XD

hmm, that idea with the trains is good and very steampunk, but a bit too much for the kind of world I want to create (as I couldn't do miniatures of that due to proportion reasons). BUT! It could for well be "ancient technology", there it would fit again :)

Sounds good, I don't really have much clue how the world looks so. And I was thinking it more like an environment than an object, so to speak.

Exploring old juggernaut-trains in the steamy jungles of the south.. sounds pretty intruding aye ;)
:iconmachina-obscura:
aaah that is allright yes :D could be easily featured in someadventure, I think. ^^
